Delete your HeyNotice data
You can delete your anonymous account and its associated data from the app.
In the app
- Open HeyNotice → Settings.
- Tap “Delete my data”.
- Review the explanation and confirm.
This removes your hosted rooms and notices, memberships, reports linked to your identity, block records, and anonymous account. People in rooms you host will lose access to those rooms. This cannot be undone.
Outside the app
Send a deletion request to unsemeta@gmail.com with the subject “HeyNotice data deletion request”. Include your app identity from Settings, if available, and enough information to identify the data you want removed. We may ask you to verify ownership before processing a request.
Because HeyNotice does not require an email login, we cannot identify an old anonymous account from your email address alone. If you still have access to the installation, in-app deletion is the most reliable option. Uninstalling alone does not delete server data.
Limited retained records
A minimal security record is scheduled to expire after 24 hours to prevent reuse of existing authentication tokens; automated cleanup can take additional time. Provider service/security logs remain subject to their retention settings. See our Privacy policy for details.
